Printers, scanners & Copiers

A printer is an external hardware output device that takes the electronic data stored on a computer or other device and generates a hard copy. A scanner is an input device that scans documents such as photographs and pages of text. A copier is a machine to make copies of pages with printing, writing, or drawing on them.
